Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all orders placed through the Omakase For You website and should be read together with our Return & Refund Policy.

1. General Cancellation Policy

Due to our made-to-order sourcing model and international shipping from Japan, orders cannot be cancelled once they have been confirmed, except in limited circumstances outlined below.

Please review your order carefully before completing payment.

2. Buyer-Initiated Cancellations
a) Before Order Processing Begins

In rare cases, if an order has not yet entered processing or sourcing, we may consider a cancellation request.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after placing the order

  • Approval is not guaranteed and is subject to order status

  • Once sourcing, preparation, or processing has begun, cancellation is no longer possible

b) After Processing or Sourcing Has Begun

Once an order has entered processing, sourcing, or preparation, cancellation is no longer accepted.

This includes:

  • Made-to-order items

  • Specially requested or sourced products

  • Limited or pre-ordered items

These orders are finalized to secure availability and ensure timely fulfillment.

c) After Shipment

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances.

At this stage, the order is considered shipped and is subject to the terms outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.

3. Seller-Initiated Cancellations

In rare situations, we may need to cancel an order due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability from the manufacturer or supplier

  • Manufacturer cancellation or significant delays

  • Payment verification issues

  • Force majeure events (e.g. customs restrictions, regulatory changes, logistics disruptions)

If an order is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Relationship to Return & Refund Policy

This Cancellation Policy works in conjunction with our Return & Refund Policy.

  • Cancellation applies before shipment only

  • Returns and refunds apply after delivery, subject to eligibility conditions

  • Cosmetics, personal care items, and made-to-order products remain non-returnable, except in cases of damage, defect, or incorrect delivery
